I just got done watching " The King of Kong " and man, do I have to say it? Billy Michell is a Jerk. I watched it & the man needs to get a life & he needs to learn it's not all about him.
If any of you have watched this, how could they not show a tape that is clear about the so called "Highs Score" of Billy Michell during the whole thing. I don't think there is even a copy of a real tape. Steve Wieb kick his butt fair & square in a open fourm. Also he (Steve) beat Billy again with a CLEAR tape, both times mind you, and I am super glad he did. I was so happy at the end.
I understand there should be keepers of things like this but come on. I mean a Ref should over see his own short-comings plus if he is a World Champ, he should be a Ref. I mean come on. Don't you think thats just unfair. Any one can call some ones High Score Bull on the count of that. To let one person toss in a Tape & not another when it's clearly shown is just nuts. This Tape stuff is whats wrong in the world. If you can't tape your self playing & the high score at the same time (two tapes are gold people) then don't do it to start with.
I know some people can't rock in a open forum. The pressure gets to them & heck if you can beat the tar out of a OLD SCHOOL game, power to ya. I used to be OK at Pac Man. I played it till our system burned out but I can not say I am a champ.
I think I seen the screen once in my life time of the End of Pac Man. Once & I don't even know who the heck was playing. I was too young to remember all of it.
So when I play now I am super rusty. Heck I can hardly play the games now. I'm lucky I can play Mario Kart on my DS. The more simple, the better I play. The more complex the puzzle, the better I play. The harder the controls & more bottons, the less I want to even try to play the game. End of that.
So now I am on this Gamer Movie kick. I have NetFlix & so I am going to see what else I can watch on-line while I can. I know there is a Gamer movie of the 80's but I can't rememeber it. It had Fred Savage I think in it. All I know is that it had Mario 3 in it & thats how I know how to skip levels I didn't know you could when I started to play the thing. I think Mario 3 is the only NES game other then Fanaxadu that I beat. i came close to beating Legacy of the Wizard but I don't think I ever got into the Dragons Lair. I know I got close but I have no idea what I was doing.
Also playing some one elses WoW account blows. I miss my Priest & want to play my Alt so badly now. I have to resend my taxes this weekend so that I can get hopefully 300 bucks. I will resart my WoW again if I get it. Hopefully I will but I am glad I can play Smash Brothers Brawl this weekend but it's going to be a lonly weekend in San Deigo, let me tell you.
