I don't know if I would like this game. I did get to read 2 books from this story line but that doesn't mean I will like it as much as the books them selfs.
There will be 4 of us to play which is nice & unnice all at once. You have one GM & 3 players. I like a 5 player game. 3 is ok but you get limited & die faster. But if you don't know the game it's kinda like D&D. You have Elves, trolls, Orks & magic. You have Humans, Guns & the normal world. Alot of crazy stuff happens even in Cyber Space. You have a team that has to work together to get jobs done. Mostly you kill stuff & blow up others. Or so I read.
I may give it a shot but I like D&D better. I have a bit more to do & pick from. PLus i was never a big fan of guns. I don't like them playing a big part in a game. It's just me. I don't like guns in life & I don't really want to worry about them in a game.
I never liked guns. I don't know why. I used to shoot them at cans when I was a kid & it seemed fun enough but as I got older I learned people shoot others for odd reasons. If it was kept to hunting & games I think I would like them more. I like swords but I think because people don't use them as often for murder they seem more fun. I don't know. I think Ren Faire kinda make them seem fun. That & Nerf Swords. Always fun.
I know they have a computer version of ShadowRun. I herd it was horrid. Nothing like the table top. I don't think any computer game can be. Theres way too much that can happen & to have all that in one easy to instal game is just nuts. I think costly too.
Maybe once I get to know some rules & see a PLayers Hand Book on it I can see if I can even get used to playing a role in such a complex & deadly game.

I really don't know any thing about the games. I only read 2 books with Dirk Montgomry, only 2 had the guy in it before the books writer died. It was full of action & killing so I don't know if I can handle the stress.
You can do some cool things in the game though.
