It's not what you think, you dirty person. It was game I used to play when I was a kid. My pal JJ had it & I think still has it. It was like playing Mine Field but with something that would eat you. If it had 16 bit graphics I'd be shocked. I only remembered the game after looking at SnackorDie.com so I had to write about it. This wasn't the only crazy games JJ had. Another great game is Ally Cat. This was a odd game about a cat on these wild puzzle adventures. I couldn't figure some of them out but I did get rather far. I never seen that game out side JJ's house which I thought was odd. Another I don't even know the name but you had to load it via Cassettape & if you got the volume off even a little after a hour loading, you'd have to start all over again. It was a crazy wait for a 8 bit? graphic game of D&D. It wasn't really a D&D game but it reminded me of it. You could pick a class & move around a Ultima like graphic of random walls to have the game fail on you at any random point. But it was cool for a kid who only knew 3 people with home computers in the 80's which now that I think of it, was alot. I was the last kid on my block to get a computer, even a NES for that matter.
I never did get a new system after SNES unless Saga Gen came after. I don't think it did & I never could find a Saga CD to pop into it. I almost got a Dreamcast but never did have the cash for it when it was still being sold.
It's just crazy to think I played games a very small few may of played or even heard of. I never got to play major games till way later like Zelda, Mega Man & Metriod. I had Faxanadu, Legacy of the Wizard & Swords and Serpents. All NES game btw & a pain in the butt to play. I still have them & they all work. I should hook them back up & give them another go.

No XBOX.
I'm talking Pong, Atari 2600, Colecovision, Intellivision, Intellivision II, Vetrex, Sega, Saturn, N64, NES, SNES, etc..
I bought the Dreamcast, all the accessories and memcards and a fishing controller and 3 months later they discontinued it. If it wasnt such a great game system I would have tried to return it. In the end, the ex made off with it and I got the Gamecube and PS2.
I recall designing video games on the TRS-80 using Basic with my bud growing up. Then the C64, AppleIIc , a Texas Instruments PC and an IBM PC Jr.
I often think back on some of the games I use to play in middle school or high school. I recently located Lode Runner too. Some or those games were really fun and ground breaking and I recall thinking it doesnt get any better. Oh how wrong I was.
I tried an emulator specifically so I could play Utopia which I use to play on Intellivision and I couldn't bare it.

Being that I have no idea what you speak of concerning yourself and why you have it so bad, I will take your word on it.
I get paid and I'm broke. Hand to mouth existence.
I cant afford insurance on my truck at the moment, my phone is turned off, I have been late on rent for 7 months running, my internet is going to be turned off any day now, I owe $300 on my truck, I owe $550 for the transmission and clutch I just put in, I got my government return check just in time to pay the $296 overdraft in my bank, I am close to shut off on lights, I eat PB&J tuna and ramen exclusively.
That's just the start.
I am not a bum though I feel like one.
I found myself in a hard place and had to take a job that didn't pay me what I deserve and I live far away from that job, I had to move last minute from friends house that got me started here, after my job transfer fell through even with 6 weeks notice.
I struggle daily but always keep my head up because I do have a job, an apartment and I have not gone a night without eating something yet. Beats the days when I was actually homeless and couch surfing for months with no job and no way to support my then drug habit.
For me.. things could be, and have been, worse.

It's like the person who has problems being friends who don't know what a problem is. They find it half way cute even.
I know there are people out there that lives just over all suck but I personally don't know any. When I am told Oh college is so hard as they are getting their masters... they don't see that they are even lucky to go to college.
I had the same people tell me I should of worked harder in college & should of drop'd out. I did drop out so I could work 6-7 days a week for crap pay to keep me & my mother with a house. I choose work over school so we had a place to live. I can always go back & I know it will be hard to but I have the option. How ever I didn't feel at the time I had the option to get a house back after losing it.
I have other issues, hang ups but I rather not talk about such things here. I rather keep this more light then it has been. I can almost feel like a fight brewing & I don't want to get into some one I respect in some way.
So lets call it over.
